We are excited to have received organic certification this week! Since we started planting our orchard in 2009, we have been following organic standards. We believe in farming in ways that mimic and complement natural systems, and that it is possible to produce high quality organic fruit in Wisconsin through intensive management practices. Our choice to certify this year was driven in part by our increasing production, and in part by our commitment to furthering the organic movement. By certifying, we can help demonstrate to the world that organic agriculture is possible, and economically important!
